About

Hi – I’m Seth.

I’m a licensed clinical social worker who works with adults and couples that feel stuck in patterns that no longer serve them—whether in relationships, emotional regulation, identity, or how they cope with stress and change.

Many of the people I work with are thoughtful, capable, and self-aware, yet find themselves repeating the same dynamics or feeling disconnected from themselves or others. Therapy, for me, is a collaborative process of slowing things down, making sense of what’s happening, and building the clarity and flexibility needed to respond differently.

My approach is grounded in the idea of “yes, and”—the ability to acknowledge what’s true right now while staying open to growth and change. Rather than quick fixes or judgment, our work focuses on understanding patterns, strengthening connection, and developing practical ways to move forward with intention.

How I approach therapy

My approach to therapy is rooted in the belief that growth begins with acceptance—not resignation, but an honest acknowledgment of what’s here now. From that place, change becomes possible. I work from a dialectical perspective, helping clients hold complexity, explore “both/and” truths, and move beyond rigid patterns that keep them stuck.

In practice, this means balancing reflection with action. We spend time understanding where patterns come from and how they function, while also focusing on practical tools that support real-life change. The work is collaborative, paced, and responsive to what you bring into the room.

What working with me is like

Clients often describe our work together as warm, thoughtful, and direct. I aim to create a space where curiosity, honesty, and even humor can coexist with depth and seriousness.

I’m not a blank slate, and I’m not interested in telling you what to do. Instead, I’ll help you slow things down, notice patterns, and think through choices in a way that feels grounded and aligned with who you are. My role is to walk alongside you—offering perspective, asking meaningful questions, and supporting you in making changes that feel both realistic and sustainable.
